Job summary

Allied Talent is partnering with a fast-growing SME in Dublin to appoint a Financial Director who reports to the CFO and leads financial operations across a multi-entity platform.

This role will focus on implementing finance and BI systems, ensuring robust financial control, reporting, and governance across the Group, while developing the finance team and partnering with senior management and lenders.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Approximately 10 years post-qualification in a senior finance role.
• Experience in multi-entity SME environments, hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Experience implementing finance and BI systems with cross-functional integration.
• Proven leadership within a finance function and board-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Own financial control, governance and compliance across group operations
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Drive finance systems implementation, automation and process improvement
• Prepare Board, Investment Committee and lender reporting
• Lead the annual audit process and maintain audit-ready financial records
• Lead, mentor and develop the wider finance team
• Act as a trusted finance partner to Senior Management and operational leadership
