Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Energy Manager for our site in Ireland's Munster region. You will lead the energy management programme, support GMP manufacturing operations, and drive cross-functional improvements to reduce costs and ensure EHS and regulatory compliance.

You will develop and monitor KPIs, budgets, and energy consumption metrics while guiding a team to achieve site and corporate objectives under ISO 50001 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in energy management and ISO 50001 implementation.
• Experience with GMP manufacturing environments and regulatory alignment.
• Strong leadership and budget management capabilities.
• Track record of cross-functional project delivery and KPI tracking.
• Advanced data analysis skills and proficiency with CMMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct reports to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage day-to-day facilities and utilities to support GMP manufacturing operations.
• Drive Energy Management Programme per ISO 50001 to maximise efficiency and reduce consumption.
• Develop, implement, and track facilities, utilities, and energy KPIs.
• Monitor energy budgets and consumption across electricity, gas, and water.
• Review plant performance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Analyse data, prepare reports, and recommend optimisations.
• Identify and deliver projects to improve efficiency and cut operating costs.
• Lead the Energy Team including audits, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure energy considerations are integrated into capital planning and procurement.
