Job summary

eir Business Commercial is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join its established Bid Team in Dublin. You will manage the full lifecycle of opportunities across technology, telecommunications, managed services and professional services for public and private sector customers.

You will work with Sales, Commercial, Technical and Delivery teams to produce compliant, commercially competitive bids, coordinating SMEs, timelines and governance reviews to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT, Telecommunications, Managed Services or Professional Services sectors is essential.
• Knowledge of Irish public sector procurement, OGP and eTenders.
• 3–7 years' experience managing bids and tenders.
• Experience responding to public and private sector procurements.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and tender documentation.
• Demonstrated success managing complex submissions.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Experience working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid opportunities from qualification through to submission.
• Analyse tender documentation and identify key deliverables and risks.
• Coordinate bid kick-off meetings and bid teams.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and response plans.
• Coordinate contributions from SMEs, technical teams and commercial stakeholders.
• Manage bid schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Produce high-quality written content where required.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and procurement regulations.
• Manage customer clarification processes.
• Lead submission preparation and governance reviews.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
