Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Ireland is seeking an Operational Key Account Manager to drive growth for key clients within the Contract Logistics team. You will act as the central contact for major accounts, delivering innovative logistics solutions and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The role requires building strong relationships, leading business reviews, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve growth and retention goals across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer relationship management and key account management.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills with a client-focused approach.
• Analytical, precise, and solution-oriented working style.
• Able to build long-term partnerships and manage multiple priorities across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts with a Voice of the Customer approach.
• Be the main point of contact for assigned customers and maintain multi-level relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities within accounts and lead development and negotiation.
• Present innovative, data-driven logistics solutions tailored to client needs.
• Lead customer meetings including Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Oversee contract reviews, pricing discussions and change requests for alignment.
• Coordinate tender management and CIP initiatives to drive improvements.
• Track KPIs like revenue, satisfaction, and delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate customer data across systems (Dynamics, Globecon, NPS).
• Collaborate with internal teams and the Commercial Director to hit growth targets.
