Job summary

Choice Stores in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Ireland, is opening soon and seeking a Team Leader to join the store leadership team. You will work with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the shop floor.

The role blends operational focus with team support, fostering a positive, professional environment and ensuring merchandising, stock control and health & safety compliance. 1–2 years in retail leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a retail or team leadership role preferred.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people skills and excellent communication.
• Confident multitasker who works well under pressure.
• Team player with energy and focus to lead others.

Responsibilities

• Lead store leadership team alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Hands-on role blending operational focus with team support, keeping the shop floor running smoothly.
• Foster a positive, professional work environment where everyone feels valued.
• Contribute to merchandising, visual standards and stock control.
• Ensure health and safety and company policies are followed; support till checks and close-up procedures.
