Intersport Elverys is a market leader in sports retail in Ireland with a growing store network. We seek a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales targets, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and ensure outstanding customer experiences.

You will manage cash, budgets, and systems while upholding safety standards and stock control. Experience in retail management and merchandising is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2/3 years retail management experience (dependent on store grade).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Passionate about the delivery of an excellent customer experience with an understanding of how this drives sales and affects the bottom line.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP.
• 3rd Level Business/Retail Management Qualification beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operations in the store and manage sales, staff, customer experience, security, health and safety, stock and resources.
• Meet and exceed store targets and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, coach and manage team members in line with company policies.
• Handle cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required.
• Drive Visual Merchandising to engage, inspire and educate customers.
• Ensure in-store services are staffed and promoted (Safesize, Assisted Selling).
• Maintain security and deter pilferage while protecting stock.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed and staff trained.
• Identify customer needs and develop additional non-direct business opportunities.
• Support successful project implementations and maintain store standards.
