Job summary

Intersport Elverys is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations and drive sales performance across our Irish retail network. You will deputise for the Store Manager and contribute to delivering excellent customer experiences.

The role requires 2–3 years of retail management experience, strong leadership and IT skills (Excel, SAP). A 3rd level qualification in Business/Retail Management is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years retail management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable.
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP.
• 3rd Level Business/Retail Management Qualification beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Store Manager as required.
• Support the day-to-day operations in the store, including sales, staff, customer experience, security, health safety, stock and resources management.
• Meet and exceed store targets and KPIs.
• Assist in managing cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration (TMS, SAP).
• Assist in driving Visual Merchandising to engage, inspire and educate customers.
• Recruit, train, coach and manage staff in line with company policies.
