Intersport Elverys seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales and manage a team across our Irish network. You will ensure excellent customer experiences, strong merchandising and adherence to health, safety and security guidelines.

With 2–3 years in retail management, you will recruit, train and coach staff, optimise cash and wage costs, and ensure targets are met. SAP/Excel proficiency and a passion for sport are a plus.

Qualificações

• 2/3 years retail management experience (dependent on store grade).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience and understanding its impact on sales.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP.
• 3rd Level Business/Retail Management Qualification beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including sales, teams, customer experience, security, health and safety, stock and resources management.
• Meet and exceed store targets and KPIs.

• Manage cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required (TMS, BC, etc).
• Drive Visual Merchandising to engage and educate customers.
• Ensure in-store services (e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling) are well staffed and promoted.
• Be security conscious and protect stock by following guidelines.
• Ensure Health & Safety policies are followed and staff trained.
• Identify customer needs and develop additional non-direct business.
• Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.
• Deliver store standards in line with business expectations.
• Act as key holder and main call-out person during alarm activations.

Our Store Management teams are responsible for the overall operations and sales performance of our stores and ensuring that the right people and product are in place to achieve and exceed Company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Every aspect of day-to-day operations in the store, including sales, team members, customer experience, security, health safety, stock and resources management.
• Meet and exceed store targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Recruit, train, coach and manage team members in line with company policies, ensuring fairness and consistency to all.
• Manage all cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required (TMS, BC, etc).
• Drive excellent Visual Merchandising in store to engage, inspire and educate the consumer.
• Ensure all in-store services are suitably manned and promoted, e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling, etc.
• Be security conscious ensuring to follow company security guidelines aimed at deterring pilferage and protecting stock.
• Responsible for overall Health Safety in store. Ensure all team members are fully trained and following company policies and procedures with regard to Health Safety.
• Identify current and future customer requirements develop additional non-direct business.
• Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.
• Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business expectations.
• Key holder and main call out person in the event of alarm activation.
• Provide cover for other stores as required.
• Any other activities as required in order to ensure the successful operation of the store.
