Job summary

TJ O' Mahony, Navan, Co. Meath, is seeking a Permanent, Full-Time Stock Controller to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring stock procedures are followed in line with policy.

Responsibilities include stock checks on arrival, data entry into the system, variance investigations, and collaboration with the Branch Purchaser and Manager. The position offers a 39-hour workweek and benefits for on-site staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory and check goods on arrival.
• Input stock into system in line with policy.
• Verify stock against supplier details and scan stock.
• Monitor goods-inwards and record deliveries, breakages and shortages.
• Manage Special Orders area and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Branch Purchaser/Manager and analysts.
• Analyse reports and manage inter-branch transfers.
• Address negative stocks daily and investigate variances.

Permanent, Full-Time, Stock Controller to join our Team

Job Purpose: To maintain an accurate inventory of all stock within the Branch, and ensure that all stock procedures are carried out in line with Group Policy on Stock Control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all goods that arrive in to the Branch are checked off in a timely manner.
• Checking off all stock and inputting on to the system in line with the Group Policy.
• Ensuring all stock verified against supplier detail.
• Ensuring all scannable stock scanned.
• Monitoring of all Goods-Inwards on the stock system.
• Recording of deliveries, breakages/damages and shortages.
• Maintain and control of Special Orders area.
• Working with Branch Teams to ensure stock take preparation is carried out effectively.
• Addressing negative stocks on a daily basis.
• Investigation of variances after stock takes.
• Working with the Branch Purchaser and/or Manager.
• Analysing Reports.
• Control, implementation and recording of Inter Branch Transfers.
• Management of product returns to suppliers.
• Stock-taking, scheduling and carrying out cycle counts.
