Sigmar Recruitment is helping a well-established steel distributor and manufacturer recruit a Sales Rep for the Munster region, including Cork. You will own the business development cycle, grow key accounts, and build a pipeline while spending three days in the field and two days at home.

You will develop relationships with construction and engineering buyers, manage a multi-sector portfolio and drive deals from quote to order, with typical project values of €10k–€15k.

Formación

• At least three years’ experience in Business Development or a similar sales role.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish construction and engineering market.
• Proven track record in winning new business and meeting targets.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Munster.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and grow customer relationships across Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Clare and Kerry.
• Develop new business and manage existing accounts across construction, engineering, steel, builder merchants, precast and agricultural sectors.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Procurement Managers, Buyers, Managing Directors, Quantity Surveyors and Production Managers.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and quoting through to negotiation and order completion.
• Develop account plans and a strong sales pipeline across the territory.
• Spend three days per week meeting customers in the field, with two days working from home.
• The role will involve working on projects across housing, commercial developments, ports, railway stations and wider infrastructure. Deal sizes can range from €10,000–€15,000.
