Inscribe is scaling quickly and is hiring a Staff Systems Engineer to own the systems and infrastructure behind our real-time API and internal services.

You'll blend DevOps, SRE, cloud architecture, backend development, and datastore optimization to drive performance, observability, and cost efficiency as our customer base grows. You will lead design, deployment, and reliability improvements across the stack.

Qualificações

• 4+ years hands-on experience across systems engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud architecture.
• Strong backend development skills in Python.
• Experience scaling production systems in high-growth environments.
• Deep familiarity with distributed systems and data-heavy backend systems.
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term vision.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, implementation and scaling of core infrastructure across compute, data, observability, and networking.
• Optimize deployment pipelines, test environments, and release automation.
• Monitor production uptime, latency and cost performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize DB access patterns and caching.
• Own capacity planning and on-call practices.
