Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the Infrastructure Data Platform. You will drive reliability, scalability, and incident response across complex systems, leveraging AI-enabled UIs and automation to reduce toil.

You will guide teams in designing, deploying, and maintaining resilient services, with a strong focus on SRE best practices, observability, and cloud infrastructure. This role blends hands-on engineering with mentorship and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering.
• Proficient in SRE culture and implementation within applications.
• Proficient in Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Experience with AI-assisted operations and data sensitivity.
• Ability to validate AI recommendations before applying changes.
• Knowledge of cloud and data platforms (AWS, Snowflake) with reliability focus.
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform).
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS.

Responsibilities

• Guides peers in SRE design and best practices within the team.
• Collaborates to design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches using CI/CD pipelines.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis.
• Implements infrastructure and network as code for apps and platforms.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve complex problems using SLOs before they impact customers.
• Applies AI to identify reliability risks and drive reusable improvements.
• Familiar with availability, reliability, scalability, and solutions across applications.
• Proactively identifies roadblocks and explores new technologies to solve business problems.
