Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer - Sell Side Engine in a fully remote role. The position focuses on solving complex technical problems in a rapidly scaling energy technology environment, rebuilding systems for origination, contracting, onboarding, and growth.

You will own architecture-level decisions, connect pricing and billing platforms, and drive scalable automation. Strong Python/AWS serverless experience and ability to work across backend and frontend as needed are

Qualifications

• Deep backend and systems design expertise for integration-heavy systems.
• Experience delivering end-to-end features in a fast-paced energy/fintech-like environment.
• Ability to own architecture-level decisions and drive practical technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture-level decisions for complex integration-heavy systems.
• Design foundations linking pricing, settlement, data, and billing platforms.
• Translate ambiguous problems into shippable plans within squad direction.
• Contribute to new product categories from concept to production and pipeline.
• Automate workflows to improve scalability and reduce operational risk.
• Build risk-management tooling and support new business categories.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrations and outcomes.
• Develop backend services and contribute to React/TypeScript frontend when needed.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Measure reliability, scalability, and business impact of systems.
