Job summary

Lever, Inc. looks for a Software Engineer (Front and Back end) based in Ireland to contribute across the full stack and build scalable cloud applications. You’ll work with Java, JavaScript, Python and web frameworks, shipping secure software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will deploy containers with Kubernetes and Docker, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate in an Agile setting using JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Professional development with Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with Redux, NgRx, or Vuex state management.
• Familiarity with C# and .NET is preferred.
• Hands-on containerization with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm or Containerd.
• Experience deploying in AWS, Azure, OpenStack or OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated builds and configurations.
• Experience in Agile with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java, JavaScript, Python or related technologies.
• Build frontend applications with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript ES6+.
• Develop UIs with React, Angular, or Vue.js and state management.
• Contribute to backend development with Java, Python, C#, or .NET.
• Design and maintain containerized apps using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd or similar.
• Support deployment across AWS, Azure, OpenStack or OpenShift.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Participate in Agile with JIRA and Confluence.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver objectives.
• Maintain clear technical communication and documentation.
