Job summary

The candidate will contribute to process optimization, equipment standards, and risk reduction across shifts, with opportunities to work on new technologies and venture into cross-site transfers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Applied Physics / Electronics / Materials / Chemistry or relevant discipline.
• 3+ years’ hands-on processing engineering experience.
• Excellent technical problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Good communication and interaction skills.
• Data driven with ability to apply science and engineering concepts.
• Self-directed, self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement for existing volume manufacturing processes, layers & tools with equipment and manufacturing groups.
• Carry out root cause analysis of yield issues, excursions, equipment downs, and implement corrective actions.
• Work with development groups to define and develop new wafer level capabilities.
• Establish standards for methods of equipment/process work amongst shift personnel and Eng. groups.
• Periodically review key metrics on Safety, Quality, Output and Value for Money; lead initiatives.
• Develop expertise on technology and equipment platform changes; support transfers from sister sites.
• Participate in capital acquisition: definition, tool selection, installation and qualification for new/existing tech.
