Job summary

Alpine Recruitment Group represents our international building and civil engineering client seeking a Senior Engineer to lead site activities in Wexford. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, oversee multiple work packages, monitor progress and drive delivery in line with programme and H&S standards.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, minimum 5 years’ civil/groundworks experience, and proven ability to manage sections of work and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil engineering or groundworks.
• Previous experience at Senior Engineer or Site Engineer level.
• Experience managing sections of work and subcontractors independently.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple work packages from commencement through to completion.
• Monitor progress against programme and address any issues that may affect delivery.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
• Attend site and project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with H&S, quality and environmental requirements.
• Assist with planning, procurement and resource allocation across the project portfolio.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction information, and raise RFIs where needed.
• Maintain strong quality control, with accurate inspection, test and as-built records.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, consultants and local authorities as required.

Salary c€85,000 with EV plus full package
