Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for civil and road projects in Wexford. The role leads engineers and subcontractors, plans field work, and ensures HSQE compliance and quality control on site.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, contribute to design input for constructability and cost efficiency, and maintain detailed site records to support on-time delivery. A Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Manage and lead a team of engineers, direct labour and sub-contractors.
• Drive the pace of the project and plan the work in the field.
• Temporary Works Design & Coordination.
• Takes ownership for ensuring that HSQE protocols are adhered to on sites at all times.
• Maintains quality control procedures at all times.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on day-to-day basis.
• Provide input and direction to designers on a Design & Build project with focus on Constructability, Costs and Efficiency.
• Maintain and complete comprehensive site records, in line with company procedures.
• Flags any issues with the Contract Management Team that could impact delivery (materials, works schedules, resources, H&S, cost).
• Manage and monitor all setting out activities on the Project.
• Coordinates and priorities the sequence of activities on site.
• Follows the Project Plan to ensure work is on time and on budget.

The client is a busy Civils Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team.

Senior Site Engineer Job Requirements:

• Manage and lead a team of engineers, direct labour and sub-contractors
• Drive the pace of the project and plan the work in the field
• Temporary Works Design & Coordination
• Takes ownership for ensuring that HSQE protocols are adhered to on sites at all times
• Maintains quality control procedures at all times
• You will liaise with the Project Manager on day-to-day basis.
• Provide input and direction to designers on a Design & Build project with a focus on Constructability, Costs and Efficiency

Senior Site Engineer Job Specification:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience, preferably civil projects
• Ability to adapt to new circumstances
• Full driving license
