Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager by offering technical advice for the project.
• Provide guidance to Setting Out Teams.
• Maintain daily communication with the project team, design team, and subcontractors.
• Conduct technical verifications of civil engineering designs.
• Implement quality assurance procedures.
• Contribute to the upkeep and oversight of safe practices on site.
• Monitor and document materials, equipment, and logistics.
• Maintain records and generate reports as necessary.

Senior Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our client’s team for a substantial project in Wexford. The ideal candidate should have a background in managing significant civil infrastructure works. However, applicants with strong expertise in building projects will also be considered, as this project includes both civil and building components. Our client’s operations have expanded beyond Dublin in recent years, leading to a diverse portfolio of projects in various sectors. Senior Engineers can anticipate approximately 3 years of work on this project in a top‑notch professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and team by offering technical advice for the project.
• Provide guidance to Setting Out Teams as we manage our growing workload.
• Maintain daily communication with the project team, design team, and subcontractors.
• Conduct technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings.
• Implement quality assurance procedures, conduct pre/post concrete pour checks, address RFIs (Requests for Information), and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to the upkeep and oversight of safe practices on the site.
• Monitor and document materials, equipment, and logistics.
• Maintain records and generate reports as necessary.

Requirements

• Relevant third‑level degree.
• 6+ years’ relevant experience on large‑scale projects.
• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential.
• Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft.
