Job summary

CareChoice Swords is seeking a committed Speech and Language Therapist for a full-time, on-site role. You will assess, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users with communication and swallowing needs, while collaborating with families and colleagues to maximise outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds CORU registration and demonstrates evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and strong communication skills in a care-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist (CORU) in Ireland.
• Demonstrates clinical knowledge and sound professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate SLT treatment programmes.
• Communicate assessment results to service users and relevant others.
• Document clinical notes and summaries in line with standards.
• Collaborate with service users, families, carers and staff on goals and plans.
• Attend clinics, meetings and multi-disciplinary rounds.
