Job summary

The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) is seeking experienced Speech & Language Therapists to join its Education Therapy Service as managers in charge. You will lead regional teams, oversee high‑quality services and drive evidence-based practice across Ireland.

Locations include Dublin, Meath, Sligo, Limerick, Cork and Waterford/Wexford. Applicants must be CORU registered with Upper Second Class Honours or higher and hold at least three years in senior or clinical specialist roles in

Qualifications

  • CORU registered as a Speech & Language Therapist
  • Professional qualification of Upper Second Class Honours or above
  • Minimum three years' experience as Senior SLT or Clinical Specialist SLT in educational settings
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to transport

Orange Recruitment on behalf of The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) is seeking experienced and passionate Speech & Language Therapists to join their expanding Education Therapy Service (ETS) as Speech & Language Therapy Managers in Charge I.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop high-quality, evidence-based Speech & Language Therapy services that support children and young people with special educational needs across Ireland. As part of NCSE's ambitious expansion, successful candidates will play a key leadership role in building inclusive educational environments and delivering meaningful outcomes for students, families and schools.

The Role
  • Lead and support regional Speech & Language Therapy teams
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality therapy services within your designated area
  • Drive service innovation, development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with schools, families, NCSE colleagues, HSE services and key stakeholders
  • Promote inclusive educational practices and positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with professional standards, best practice and national policy
Applicants must:
  • Be registered as a Speech & Language Therapist with CORU
  • Hold a professional qualification of a high standard (Upper Second Class Honours or above)
  • Have a minimum of three years' experience as a Senior Speech & Language Therapist or Clinical Specialist Speech & Language Therapist in an educational or school setting
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to their own transport
