Job summary

National Council for Special Education (NCSE) seeks a Speech and Language Therapy Manager in Charge I to lead SLT service delivery across multiple regions in Ireland. The role reports to the SLT Manager in Charge III and works within the therapy management team to support children and young people in schools, including special and mainstream settings.

The post requires CORU registration, a high-standard professional qualification, and at least three years' experience as a senior SLT.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Speech & Language Therapist with CORU.
• Professional qualification of high standard (upper second or better).
• Minimum of three years' experience as a Senior SLT or Clinical Specialist in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Speech & Language Therapy in a defined regional area.
• Ensure model of service delivery meets school needs and aligns with NCSE supports.
• Collaborate with DCDE, HSE, DFHERIS, TUSLA and other stakeholders to support learners.
