Job summary

NCSE in Ireland is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead and support regional OT teams and to oversee delivery of high‑quality therapy services across multiple locations. You will drive service innovation and quality improvements while collaborating with schools, families, NCSE colleagues, HSE services and key stakeholders to promote inclusive education.

Qualifications

  • CORU registered Occupational Therapist
  • Upper Second Class Honours or above in your professional qualification
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Senior Occupational Therapist or Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist in an educational or school setting
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport

The Role

Reporting to the Occupational Therapy Manager in Charge III, you will:

  • Lead and support regional Occupational Therapy teams
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality therapy services within your designated area
  • Drive service innovation, development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with schools, families, NCSE colleagues, HSE services and key stakeholders
  • Promote inclusive educational practices and positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with professional standards, best practice and national policy
Applicants must:
  • Be registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU
  • Hold a professional qualification of a high standard (Upper Second Class Honours or above)
  • Have a minimum of three years' experience as a Senior Occupational Therapist or Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist in an educational or school setting
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to their own transport
