The Grace Westport Estate is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver luxurious, personalized spa experiences in line with our luxury standards. You will perform a range of professional treatments, consult with guests to tailor experiences, and maintain serene, impeccably clean treatment rooms.

Qualified candidates hold CIDESCO, CIBTAC or ITEC certifications and have spa or hospitality experience. A dedicated client-focus, discretion and flexibility to work weekends are essential; Ireland work

Qualifications

• CIDESCO, CIBTAC, or ITEC certifications in facial and body treatments.
• Minimum 1 year in a spa, resort, or wellness setting.
• Strong client service with confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional and personalised spa experience in alignment with The Grace Westport Estate's luxury standards. This role involves providing a range of professional spa and wellness treatments while ensuring a serene and restorative environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess refined technical skills, deep product knowledge, and a passion for holistic well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps, manicures, pedicures, and other wellness therapies as trained and certified.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, tailoring treatments accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all treatment rooms and spa facilities, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, ensuring punctuality and efficiency in treatment delivery.
• Ensure treatment areas are well-stocked with supplies and equipment before each service.
• Promote spa products and services, offering recommendations based on client needs.
• Comply with therapist/client confidentiality protocols
• Exceptional guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a refined, discreet, and polished demeanour
• Physically fit with stamina and posture awareness to perform treatments effectively over extended periods.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and always comply with grooming / uniform standards.
• Work collaboratively with the spa team to ensure a seamless and relaxing guest experience.
• Uphold the spa's brand standards, values, and service culture.

Required Experience & Skills

• Certifications in both facial and body treatments at CIDESCO, CIBTAC, or ITEC level.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a spa, resort, or wellness environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of different massage techniques (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, etc.).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Proficiency in spa software systems such as Journey, Book4Time, or Try-Be.
• Familiarity with prestigious skincare and spa brands (e.g., GROUND, ESPA, Elemis, Natura Bisse, Voya)
• Previous experience in a Luxury hotel spa or international luxury wellness brand.
• Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying informed about emerging wellness trends and innovations.
