Job summary

The Partner Solutions Engineer role in Ireland invites a senior technologist to act as a strategic technical ambassador, empowering Cisco partners to Build, Sell and Deliver complex solutions. You will drive architectural alignment and enablement across Secure Networking, AI infrastructure, and Workplace Experiences.

Based in Ireland, you will partner with regional teams to grow partner-led pipeline, deliver technical workshops, and influence product direction through field feedback.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical experience in the networking industry.
• Expertise in Networking, Security (e.g. Firewalls, ISE), Data Center Networking, or Collaboration Devices.
• Experience engaging with partner roles, from technical engineers to C-suite decision-makers.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to value-sell and deliver engaging, technical workshops.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to assess complex business/technical problems and resolve them with effective, scalable actions.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to build relationships, formulate structured partner account plans, and execute independently in a regional context.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Architectural Leadership: Leverage deep-domain expertise across the Cisco portfolio to drive technology adoption and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Partner Engagement & Enablement: Equip partners with the skills, tools, and blueprints to build and deliver high-value Cisco offerings, aligning labs and demos with Cisco’s roadmap.
• Driving GTM Success: Lead initiatives in Secure Networking, AI infrastructure, and Workplace Experiences, conducting workshops and PoC engagements.
• Corporate Interlock: Act as a field intelligence feedback loop, syncing with Portfolio SEs to align partner initiatives with product strategy.
• Technical Sales Cycle: Guide partners through complex support processes while maximizing renewal outcomes.
• Demand Generation & Pipeline: Collaborate with sales to grow partner-led pipeline and revenue.
• Event & Community Leadership: Represent Cisco at partner events and forums to foster a technical ecosystem.
