Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solicitor to join our reputable legal practice in Donegal. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in various legal matters, and ensure compliance with Irish law. This role requires strong advocacy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in areas such as conveyancing, family law, litigation, employment law, wills and probate, and criminal law.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court submissions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, and negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in legislation and case law.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and professional service delivery.
  • Liaise with barristers, experts, and other legal professionals as required.
  • Handle property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
  • Advise on and prepare wills, trusts, and probate matters.
  • Ensure compliance with the Solicitors' Regulations Authority (SRA) and Law Society of Ireland guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Solicitor registered with the Law Society of Ireland.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in a relevant legal field.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish law and court procedures.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
