Employment Solicitor | Associate | Dublin
Looking to take ownership of your practice in a firm where your work is directly visible to leadership and clients alike?
We are currently advising a premier full-service commercial firm in Dublin on the recruitment an Associate. Known for taking a pragmatic, fresh approach to commercial law, the firm combines a genuinely collaborative culture with an impressive, high-calibre client base.
What makes this role stand out?
You'll lead on key client accounts rather than working in the background. The partners actively encourage associates to build direct, lasting client relationships.
The employment practice sits at the center of the firm's growth. You'll work across high-growth sectors, advising international tech brands, corporate employers, semi-state bodies, and FDI entrants establishing their presence in Ireland.
Career pathways here are clear and merit-based. If you are looking for a firm where your contribution is recognised and rewarded with real progression opportunities, the structure here makes that achievable.
The office atmosphere is straightforward, down-to-earth, and friendly. The team values sharp commercial thinking, but prioritises a working environment where people actually enjoy coming into the office.
The role offers a balanced mixture of contentious, advisory, and strategic employment work:
Managing complex litigation, unfair dismissal claims, discrimination cases, and injunctions before the WRC, Labour Court, and High Court.
Advising senior leadership on executive terminations, sensitive internal investigations, whistleblowing allegations, and restrictive covenant enforcement.
Partnering with the firm's Corporate team on high-value M&A deals, TUPE transfers, and workforce restructurings.
Qualified Solicitor in Ireland or the UK, ideally with 1-4 years PQE focused on employment law.
Strong experience gained within a recognised commercial firm or specialist employment practice.
Sharp technical instincts paired with a practical, common-sense advisory style; clients value clear answers over academic treatises.
A strong communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment and enjoys getting stuck into client strategy.
