Job summary

Nineteen Talent Solutions is representing a well-regarded Waterford legal firm seeking a Solicitor with approximately 2 years’ PQE to join a busy general practice.

You will manage your own files, provide client advice and draft, review and prepare legal documentation while collaborating with colleagues across a broad range of matters.

The role is full-time and permanent, offering a salary of €50,000-€60,000 DOE in a supportive environment with varied and interesting caseloads.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor with approximately 2 years' PQE.
• Experience in general practice or interest in developing broad practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent drafting, organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload across general practice.
• Taking responsibility for matters from initial instruction through to completion.
• Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
• Drafting, reviewing and preparing legal documentation and correspondence.
• Liaising directly with clients, colleagues and other professionals.
• Progressing matters efficiently and ensuring key deadlines are met.
• Maintaining accurate, well-organised and up-to-date client files.

A well-regarded and established legal firm in Waterford is seeking to appoint aSolicitor to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to develop their career within a busy general practice, taking responsibility for a varied caseload while working closely with clients and colleagues across a broad range of legal matters.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own files, provide advice directly to clients and play an important role within an established and professional legal practice.

• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and sound legal judgement
• Experience using legal case management software
• Be confident managing a varied caseload and working independently
• Be able to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
• Have a professional, approachable and client-focused manner
