CPL in Donegal is seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join a busy, supportive team working on residential and commercial conveyancing alongside probate and general practice matters.

You will manage a varied caseload, progress files to deadlines, prepare documents, and maintain strong client relationships using modern case management tools and cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Legal Executive or substantial support experience in conveyancing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with progression of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Support solicitors on probate and general practice matters.
  • Prepare legal documentation, correspondence, and other transaction-related materials.
  • Manage and progress files efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Act as day-to-day contact for clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders throughout transactions and legal matters.
  • Utilise modern cloud-based systems to support efficient case management and collaboration.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join their busy and collaborative team in Donegal.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to work alongside experienced solicitors on a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, while also gaining exposure to probate and general practice work.

The Role

As a key member of the team, you will support solicitors in the management and progression of a varied caseload and play an important role in delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the progression of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Support solicitors on a range of general practice matters, including probate and estate administration.
  • Prepare legal documentation, correspondence, and other transaction-related materials.
  • Manage and progress files efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders throughout transactions and legal matters.
  • Utilise modern cloud-based systems and technology to support efficient case management and collaboration across the firm.
About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Executive, or significant experience supporting conveyancing matters.
  • Strong experience in Irish residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
  • Knowledge of Tailte Éireann registration processes.
  • Probate and estate administration experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently and proactively while contributing as part of a wider team.
  • A keen interest in legal technology, case management systems, process improvement, and modern ways of working.
