Job summary

CREGG is seeking an experienced Solar PV Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team in Ireland, covering the Tipperary or Laois territory. This field-based role focuses on meeting homeowners, presenting solar PV solutions, and converting opportunities into sales.

Candidates with B2C or field sales experience and strong closing skills are encouraged to apply. A full driving licence and ability to travel across the territory are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2C field sales preferred.
• Ability to convert opportunities to sales.
• Strong pricing discussion and negotiation skills.
• Own transport and full driving licence.
• Willing to travel across Tipperary or Laois.

Responsibilities

• Manage qualified residential sales leads provided by the internal sales team.
• Attend customer appointments across the assigned territory.
• Meet with homeowners to understand their energy requirements.
• Present suitable solar PV solutions in a clear and professional manner.
• Explain potential energy savings, system benefits and return on investment.
• Prepare and present customer proposals.
• Follow up on active opportunities and progress them through the sales process.
• Handle customer questions and objections professionally.
• Close sales and achieve agreed targets.
• Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information.
• Work closely with internal sales, technical and operations teams.
• Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the process.

Role Overview

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Solar PV Sales Consultant to join their growing sales team, covering either the Tipperary or Laois territory.

This is a field-based role where you will meet with homeowners interested in solar PV solutions. Qualified leads will be generated and provided by an internal sales team, allowing you to focus on customer appointments, presenting suitable solutions and converting opportunities into sales.

Previous solar experience or car sales would be an advantage , but candidates with strong B2C, field sales or home-improvement sales experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to travel throughout either Tipperary or Laois.
