Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies in Naas, Co. Kildare, seeks a Solar PV Installer to join our Installations team. You will install solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted sites, and you will receive 6 weeks of industry-specific training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Roofer; cladding/industrial glazing also accepted.
• Experience in solar installation is desirable.
• Must live within a commutable distance to Naas, Co. Kildare.
• Experience working at heights with a harness.
• Must meet all physical requirements of the job.
• Up-to-date Health and Safety knowledge on site.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted sites.
• Perform site-based installation tasks and commissioning.
• Participate in 6 weeks of industry-specific training.
