Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies, based in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a qualified Electrician to install and commission domestic Solar PV systems. This full‑time role includes training, a competitive salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and additional benefits.

The successful candidate will install solar panels, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues on residential properties, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with domestic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install solar PV systems and electrical components for residential properties.
• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and keep accurate records.
• Comply with safety regulations and standards.
