Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies in Naas, Co. Kildare, seeks a Solar PV Installer to join our Installations team. You will install solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted sites, and you will receive 6 weeks of industry-specific training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Roofer; cladding/industrial glazing also accepted.
• Experience in solar installation is desirable.
• Must live within a commutable distance to Naas, Co. Kildare.
• Experience working at heights with a harness.
• Must meet all physical requirements of the job.
• Up-to-date Health and Safety knowledge on site.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with a customer-focused attitude.

The Opportunity

As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings & ground mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Previous solar experience is desirable
• Must live within a commutable distance of Naas, Co. Kildare.
• Previous experience working at heights with the use of a harness.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.
