Job summary

Quest Software in Cork is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern for an 8-month placement. You will join the Cork office-based R&D team to work on Microsoft Platform management products using Azure technologies and AI tooling.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to real-world projects, and receive mentorship while writing high-quality code in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 3rd year of a Computer Science or related program.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Generative AI experience.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Desirable: Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and web development frameworks.
• Desirable: Exposure to Agile methodologies and version control tools (Git).

Responsibilities

• Work on an R&D team building serverless, cloud-native SaaS solutions using the latest Microsoft Azure technologies and AI tooling.
• Build commercial products that integrate Quest Data Solutions products.
