Job summary

Quest Software in Cork is offering an 8-month Software Engineering Intern placement in our Cork office. You will join an R&D team to build serverless, cloud-native SaaS solutions using Azure technologies and emerging AI tooling.

You will contribute to real-world projects, receive mentorship, and work in an agile environment using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GitHub. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3rd year CS student or related program.
• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Experience with Generative AI.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on an R&D team building serverless, cloud-native SaaS solutions using Azure and AI tooling.
• Build commercial products integrating Quest Data Solutions products.
• Be an active member of an agile team, writing high-quality code with AI at the center of the SDLC.
• Receive mentorship and participate in code reviews to grow technical skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world projects.
• Work with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GitHub.
