Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Software Engineer for its Synthetic Monitoring squad. You will work on Go backend services and a TypeScript/React frontend, building scalable, enterprise-grade features while aligning with AI-assisted workflows.

The role is remote-first and global, with compensation ranges published for Ireland. Strong Go and frontend capabilities, plus Kubernetes experience, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong Go and backend experience; able to own features end-to-end across the stack.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/React for frontend work.
• Experience operating production services and pager responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from API design in Go to frontend UX in TypeScript/React.
• Contribute to scheduling, telemetry, and API design for scalability.
• Build cross-product AI-assisted workflows within Grafana Cloud.
• Operate production services and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate across remote, distributed teams and document decisions.
