The role blends hands-on Python and Go development with deep Linux stack exposure, including networking, storage, virtualization, and containers.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience as a software engineer with Python development.
• Good understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud concepts.
• Experience with open source workflows and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver open source software operations code using Python and Go.
• Work across Linux stack including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, and containers.
• Build and improve automation, monitoring, and alerting for reliable operations.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and contribute to upstream projects.
• Participate in events and travel up to 10% of the time.
