Job summary

Realtime Recruitment in Dublin is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong Python development experience for a 6-month rolling contract. The role focuses on designing and delivering software across the full development lifecycle within a hybrid Dublin setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial software development experience, solid API/database skills, and comfort with Agile/DevOps environments. A background in financial services is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

Software Engineer – Python | 6-Month Rolling Contract

Location: Dublin – Hybrid

Contract: 6-month rolling contract

Experience: 5+ years

Rate: Competitive daily rate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer with strong Python development experience to join a major financial services organisation in Dublin.

This is a long-term contract opportunity working on full software development lifecycle projects, from initial design and development through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

The successful candidate will have experience developing complex applications within a financial services or investment banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software solutions using Python


• Taking ownership of projects across the full software development lifecycle


• Developing and maintaining robust, scalable software solutions


• Work closely with other Software Engineers, technical teams and stakeholders


• Develop clean, scalable and maintainable code
