Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a long-term contract in Ireland. You will build and evolve a cloud-native SaaS platform, delivering secure, scalable backend services with Python, Django and SQL. The role offers 2/3 days on-site per month with remote-first flexibility and strong engineering collaboration.

You’ll have 6+ years of Python experience, strong backend and Linux skills, and work within a fast-growing SaaS/AI environment with global financial institutions.

As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving a cloud-native SaaS platform relied upon by global financial institutions. Working with Python, Django and SQL, you’ll develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs that process complex regulatory data at scale.

This is a long-term day-rate contract with excellent prospects for extension or a permanent opportunity. With just 2/3 days on site per month, you’ll enjoy genuine remote-first flexibility while remaining closely connected to a highly experienced engineering team.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and modern DevOps practices, helping deliver reliable software at global scale.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 6 years Python experience
• Strong Python development experience building scalable, production-grade backend applications.
• Strong experience working within Linux environments.
