Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is hiring a Python Developer for IT contracting in Ireland. You will build and maintain internal web apps and dashboards on the enterprise data platform, delivering features end-to-end with data access, business logic, templating, and interactivity using internal modules.

You will write and optimize SQL queries, collaborate with Data Engineering to extend models, and support reporting and dashboard tooling.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial experience focused on Python engineering.
• Production experience with Python and web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Strong SQL skills with ability to write joins and aggregations.
• Experience with Git and team-based code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Nice to have Snowflake, AWS, dbt, htmx, Streamlit or data-facing tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal web applications and dashboard tooling on the data platform.

• Support and enhance reporting and dashboard tooling; resolve defects and improve performance.
