Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a long-term day-rate contract in Ireland. You will build and evolve a cloud-native SaaS platform used by leading financial institutions, using Python, Django and SQL in an Azure environment.

Expect strong remote-first flexibility with just 2/3 days on site per month, and opportunities for extension or permanent roles. You will own backend components, design secure APIs, and work with cross-functional teams to prototype and deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ Python development experience.
• Strong Python development experience building scalable, production-grade backend applications.
• Excellent experience developing APIs and backend web applications.

As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving a cloud-native SaaS platform relied upon by global financial institutions worldwide. Working with Python, Django and SQL within an Azure cloud environment, you’ll develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs that process complex regulatory data at scale.
