Job summary

TerraGlen Residential Care Services in Dublin is seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker to join our permanent, full-time team in Glencullen, Co. Dublin.

You will provide person-centred support, promote dignity and active participation for service users, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications

• Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care or CORU-approved discipline.
• CORU Registration (or proof of CORU application).
• Recognition of Prior Learning / Assessment of Professional Competence route or recognised qualification route.
• A full, clean driving licence is desirable.
• A genuine commitment to supporting people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in daily living, community inclusion, and independent living skills.
• Promote dignity, choice, and active participation in line with New Directions.
• Support service users with personal care, communication, and emotional wellbeing.
• Participate as a Key Worker and contribute to individual personal plans.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records in line with HIQA standards and TerraGlen policies.
• Support safeguarding practices, risk reporting, and quality improvements.
• Work collaboratively as part of a warm, respectful team environment.

Education

Vetting Requirement

• Successful candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting through the National Vetting Bureau.
