Job summary

Your World Healthcare Ireland is seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to support vulnerable individuals across residential, disability and community settings in Dublin. This role offers flexible day, night and sleepover shifts with pay aligned to HSE scales and weekly payroll.

We welcome CORU registration or an application in progress, a Level 7 qualification in Social Care, and a full driving license. Excellent communication, a person-centred approach and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• CORU Social Care Registration/Pin required or in progress.
• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or relevant discipline.
• Right to live and work in Ireland.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Person-centred approach with compassionate attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible day, night and sleepover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and support with personal hygiene, medication management, and daily living activities.
• Develop and review individualised care and placement plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Advocacy and connecting clients to housing, education, or healthcare.
• Support clients to manage behaviours and develop life skills.
• Assist with home and household management, meals, budgeting.
• Work across residential, disability and community settings in Dublin.

We're now looking for compassionate, dedicated Social Care Workers to support vulnerable individuals across residential, disability and community settings in Dublin.

The Role:

Duties vary by placement, but typically include:

Direct care and support:assisting clients with personal hygiene, medication management, and daily living activities

Care planning:collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review individualised care and placement plans

Advocacy and brokerage:empowering clients to make decisions and connecting them to resources like housing, education, or healthcare

Behaviour and life skills:helping clients manage challenging behaviours, cope with trauma, and develop interpersonal and life skills

Home and household management:organising daily household tasks, meal planning, and basic household budgeting

What we're looking for:

CORU Social Care Registration/Pin (candidates with a CORU application in progress are also welcome to apply)

Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or a relevant discipline

Right to live and work in Ireland

Full clean driving licence

A person-centred approach with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team
