Corlann – West Region is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Team Leader (Social Care Leader Grade) to oversee Cruachan Adult Services in Strokestown and surrounding areas. The role focuses on day-to-day management, people-centred planning, staffing, and leadership to deliver high-quality services in line with national standards.

• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU.
• Or eligible under the Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU (evidence of application status is necessary).
• Hold an appropriate qualification in Health and Social Care Management (QQI Level 6) is a necessary requirement of the post. If the successful applicant does not hold such a qualification, a commitment to obtaining the qualification prior to taking up the post will be required.
• Previous experience of effectively managing a staff team and demonstrating proven ability to pro-actively lead, motivate, empower and achieve results through people is an advantage.
• A minimum of three 3 years’ post qualification experience, working with people with an Intellectual Disability is essential.
• Demonstrate a clear commitment to community integration and active citizenship for all people with disabilities with experience in the area of human rights and advocacy.
• Experience of working in the area of autism and behaviours of concern would be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• The Team Leader has a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services.
• The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring the development of the service in line with national standards and best practice.
• Assist the Team Manager with person centred planning in line with Personal Outcome Measures ethos and practice, resource management and staffing - including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership in order to ensure a good quality of life for the people supported.
