Job summary

Corlann – West Region provides a community-based, person-centred service for people with intellectual disabilities. We are recruiting a Team Leader (Social Care Leader) for Caislean Services in Oranmore/Renmore, Galway, to lead day-to-day delivery and supervise teams in line with national standards and Personal Outcome Measures.

The role requires a relevant 3rd level qualification in Social Care or Health, CORU registration or eligibility, and experience leading a staff team.

Qualifications

• A relevant 3rd level qualification in the Social Care or Health Sector e.g. Social Care qualification and CORU registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• The Team Leader has a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services.
• The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring development of the service in line with standards.
• Responsibilities include person-centred planning, resource management and staffing, rosters, staff development and professional leadership.
