Job summary

Corlann – West Region is seeking a CMN1/Social Care Leader to manage day-to-day operations of an integrated day service for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring HIQA standards are met.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, safeguarding, community integration, and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant professional registration (CORU or NMBI) or be eligible under registration routes.
• Post-qualification experience in managing a staff team and leading with impact is advantageous.
• Minimum three years’ post-qualification experience with intellectual disabilities is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to community integration, human rights, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in developing the service in line with Personal Outcome Measures and HIQA standards.
• Ensure life of each individual reflects core values and supports development in dignity, independence, relationships, and community involvement.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the integrated day service, with flexible rostering and potential night duties.
• Oversee staffing, supervision, and performance, and contribute to strategic planning for the West Region.
