Job summary

CORLANN WEST REGION is seeking a Team Manager to lead Cruachan Services across Strokestown, Elphin, Tulsk, Ballinagare & Ballaghaderreen areas. The role is permanent full-time with senior responsibilities in Nursing and Social Care management.

The successful candidate will coordinate services, manage teams, ensure person-centred planning, and operate within the Department of Health salary scales. An on-call roster and travel between locations are required.

Qualifications

• A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing and current Live Register Certificate from NMBI.
• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU.
• Registration with CORU Social Care Workers Register.
• Eligibility under Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register - evidence of application status is necessary.
• Health and Social Care Management QQI Level 6 is a necessary requirement or commitment to obtain prior to taking up the post.
• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience with Intellectual Disability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the team; coordinate to develop person-centred services as per the Service Plan for each area.
• Support staff teams and manage operations within agreed budget; be an active member of the management team.
• Work with Service Coordinator/Area Manager to ensure efficient, effective service delivery and compliance with regulations.
