Job summary

HRconsultants.ie is recruiting for a Branch Manager in Sligo to lead a well-established financial services branch. You will manage a team of five, drive branch performance and ensure excellent service across everyday banking and mortgage needs.

You will be highly visible in the local community, responsible for supporting your team, managing performance and maintaining risk, compliance and operational standards while delivering business changes to improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• QFA qualification is essential.
• Previous experience in branch banking or financial services.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Commercially focused with a track record of delivering results.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of risk, compliance and operational controls.
• Confident decision maker who enjoys being visible and hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of five to deliver excellent customer service.
• Take ownership of branch performance, service levels and agreed sales activity.
• Use MI and performance information to manage results and identify opportunities.
• Maintain strong risk, compliance and operational standards across the branch.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including resourcing, cash, security and key controls.
• Manage customer complaints and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.
• Work closely with regional leadership and support teams to deliver business changes and improve customer experience.
• Create a positive, engaged and customer-focused team environment.
