Job summary

Weltec Engineering in Ireland recruits for a site-based Warehouse Administrator role. This full-time, on-site position supports the warehouse and project teams with day-to-day administration and operational duties in a busy engineering environment.

You will maintain records of materials, process deliveries, coordinate material receipts, manage storage and issue, liaise with procurement and site teams, perform stock counts, and ensure documentation and ERP/Inventory systems are up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, stores, or technical environment would be advantageous.
• An engineering qualification or trade background would be highly desirable.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using ERP, inventory, procurement or materials management systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day administration and operation of the site warehouse.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, tools and consumables.
• Process and track incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Coordinate material receipts, storage, allocation and issue to project teams.
• Ensure delivery documentation, goods received notes and associated records are accurately maintained.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, engineering, supervisors and site teams regarding material requirements and availability.
• Assist with stock control, stock counts and inventory reporting.
• Track materials and equipment to ensure they are available in line with project requirements.
• Maintain organised electronic and physical warehouse records and documentation.
• Assist with identifying shortages, discrepancies or damaged materials and escalate as required.
• Support the implementation of warehouse procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with site health, safety and quality requirements.
• Provide general administrative support to the warehouse and project teams as required.
