Job summary

Weltec Engineering Ltd in Waterford requires an experienced warehouse professional to lead day-to-day operations, oversee receiving, storage and dispatch, and ensure accurate inventory management. You will coordinate deliveries to project sites, implement efficient procedures and mentor warehouse staff to maintain safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management or materials coordination in a construction/manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proven experience leading warehouse operations and teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations including safe handling of materials, tools and equipment.
• Oversee goods receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate material deliveries to project sites and meet client requirements.
• Implement warehouse procedures and controls to improve efficiency.
• Manage warehouse personnel with leadership and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements.
• Conduct stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with procurement, project teams and suppliers for smooth material flow.
• Monitor KPIs and report on stock movements and performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and drive continuous improvement.
