Job summary

Weltec Engineering Ltd in Waterford is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and ensure timely material availability for projects. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and performance management in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires a degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics, with strong leadership and WMS/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management or materials coordination.
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations and leading teams.
• Experience using WMS/ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations ensuring safe handling of materials, tools and equipment.
• Oversee goods receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate material deliveries to project sites and meet schedules.
• Implement warehouse procedures and controls to improve efficiency.
• Manage warehouse personnel, training and performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements.
